Talon US selects UniLED for independent DOOH verification
UniLED has been selected by Talon US, the world’s leading independent out-of-home (OOH) agency, as its independent verification partner.
The decision follows a successful and ongoing collaboration between Talon UK and UniLED. Under this strategic US partnership, UniLED’s award-winning UniLIVE platform will be rolled out across all of Talon’s US DOOH campaigns, including programmatic.
UniLIVE was chosen by Talon for its ability to meticulously track, monitor, and independently verify every play and impression, across every screen and location, down to the hour. UniLIVE can also validate audience and impression delivery against recognized industry standards such as Geopath, while providing transparency on cost per mille (CPM) for programmatic DOOH.
By offering independent reassurance that campaigns have delivered as planned, the UniLIVE platform will ensure the Talon team and its clients even greater accountability and transparency.
It doesn’t end there. The independent insight provided by UniLIVE can be used to maximize the performance of current and future campaigns. For example, its in-flight monitoring capabilities will enable Talon US to identify playout anomalies while a campaign is still running, removing the need to wait for post-campaign reports before optimizing and course-correcting. These insights also support future planning and campaign measurement.
The verified DOOH delivery data will also provide Talon and its clients with greater confidence in the quality of inputs for Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM). This will help to ensure DOOH receives appropriate recognition for its contribution to wider campaign outcomes.
Ben Zloof, CEO at UniLED Software, explained: “We’re looking forward to working closely with the Talon US team. Agencies and brands want greater transparency into how their DOOH campaigns have actually performed, alongside actionable insight they can use to improve results. Verification is about far more than confirming that a campaign played as planned. It gives agencies and advertisers the insight they need to optimize campaigns in-flight and sharpen future planning. As well as laying the foundation for meaningful measurement, allowing effectiveness to be assessed against what actually happened rather than what was planned or assumed. Ultimately, that combination of confidence and insight helps advertisers maximize the performance of their DOOH investment and supports continued growth in the channel.”
Ryan Laul, CEO at Talon US, added: “As media investment in DOOH continues to grow, brands rightly expect DOOH reporting to match the accountability of other channels, such as online. Partnering with UniLIVE adds independent verification that not only validates that campaigns are delivering as intended, but also gives our teams the insight to improve performance while campaigns are still live. The result is greater confidence for our clients in their DOOH investment and stronger outcomes from every campaign.”
